Product description:Colorless, volatile flammable liquid, stimulating odour. Insoluble in water, soluble in alcohol, ether, benzene, acetone and most organic solvents.Methyl cyclopentane mainly exists in industrial n-hexane, content is about 5%. But due to its boiling point and the boiling point of n-hexane (68.74 ℃), the general distillation method is difficult to completely separate, so using azeotropic distillation method with methanol, purity can be obtained by more than 99% of methyl cyclopentane.Used as a solvent and chromatographic analysis standard material, also used in organic synthesis.
