Product name:Superoxide dismutase
CAS:9054-89-1
Specification:20mg/50ku
Description:
The main function of Superoxide dismutase is to specifically remove Superoxide anion o-2 in the body so as to remove the components in the body caused damage to the body.
Superoxide dismutase has a short half-life, usually only 6 ~ 10min. Relatively large molecular weight, not easy to penetrate the cell membrane, oral is easy to be inactivated by proteinase. So the clinical application is limited. The enzyme is an acid protein, stable and able to withstand heat. Ph7.6 ~ 9 stable, ph6 and above 12h instability. Extremely unstable especially below ph2. It has a strong ability to resist the hydrolysis of pepsin and trypsin.
Superoxide dismutase has no effect on immune regulation and analgesia, nor on the synthesis of prostaglandin and other inflammatory mediators.
Superoxide dismutase is prepared by separating and removing hemoglobin after washing by using bovine red blood cell as raw material, and then by column chromatography and dialysis.
Superoxide dismutase is used for biochemical research, commonly used in clinical treatment of systemic lupus erythematosus, dermatitis, rheumatoid arthritis, scleroderma, autoimmune hemolytic anemia, thrombocytopenia and other autoimmune diseases, treatment of some cardiovascular diseases, used for anti-aging.
