Description:The Tween 60 is a yellow waxy solid, soluble in water, sulfuric acid and dilute alkali, with an HLB value of 9.6, which is dispersible in the presence of certain salts.
Tween 60 is used as emulsifier, dispersant, stabilizer, diffuser, softener, antistatic agent, anti-rust agent. Finishing agent is used in medicine, cosmetics, paint pigment, textile, food, pesticide, detergent production and metal surface anti-rust cleaning industry.
Tween 60 is obtained by adding a certain amount of ethylene oxide into span-60 under the catalysis of sodium methanol (or sodium ethanol) at 130 ~ 170℃.
