Description:Tetradecyl trimethyl ammonium chloride type cationic surfactant is senior fatty amine reaction with methyl chloride in the presence of sodium hydroxide. This surfactant is a long chain alkyl group or alkyl carbon (atomic number is usually between eight and 22), three short chain alkyl carbon (atomic number 1 to 7) structures, such as 1231 (dodecyl trimethyl ammonium chloride), 1431 (14 alkyl trimethyl ammonium chloride), 1631 (cetyl trimethyl ammonium chloride), 1831 (octadecyl trimethyl ammonium chloride). This kind of surfactant is easy to dissolve in water, is transparent, has good surface activity, can be used as shampoo, sterilization detergent, polystyrene resin and other external coating antistatic agent, fiber antistatic agent, leveling agent, demulsifier and dispersant.
