Pyridoxal-phosphate (PLP, pyridoxal-5'-phosphate, P5P) is a prosthetic group of some enzymes. It is the active form of vitamin B6, which comprises three natural organic compounds, pyridoxal, pyridoxamine and pyridoxine.
Pyridoxal 5'-phosphate is a basic ingredient extracted from or chemically synthesized in living organisms and used in the analysis and identification of biological components and in the manufacture of biological products. With the development of life science, biochemical reagents have developed into a large category of chemical reagents, with more than 10,000 commodities.
