Description:
Nystatin is a polyene antifungal drug to which many molds and yeast infections are sensitive, including Candida. Due to its toxicity profile, there are currently no injectable formulations of this drug on the US market. However, nystatin may be safely given orally as well as applied topically due to its minimal absorption through mucocutaneous membranes such as the gut and the skin.
1. Nystatin tablets have a broad spectrum of antifungal effects, with high antibacterial activity against candida, cryptococcus neoformans, aspergillus, mucor, microspore, histoplasma capsulatum, bacillus dermatitis and dermatophyte.
2. The bacteria spectrum and antibacterial mechanism are similar to amphotericin B, which is mainly used for candida albicans infection of skin, mucosa, mouth and vagina.
3, mainly used for skin mucous membrane, oral cavity, intestinal tract and vagina candida albicans infection, high concentration has bactericidal effect.
4. Yellow or yellowish-brown powder with special odor and hygroscopicity. Slightly soluble in water, methanol, ethanol, insoluble in acetone, ether and chloroform. Unstable to air, light, heat, water, acid or base. Antifungal antibiotics.
5. Mycetin is a polyene antifungal antibiotic with powerful pro-inflammatory properties. It has many applications, such as preventing cell culture contamination and inducing interleukin (IL) -, il-8, TLR2 to express thp1-secreted tumor necrosis factor-alpha. It is used as a fungal membrane (ergosterol-binding) pore-making agent and as an ion channel to create mycin/ergosterol in lipid bilayer.
