Description:
Meglumine is an amino sugar derived from sorbitol. It is often used as an excipient in pharmaceuticals and in conjunction with iodinated compounds in contrast media such as diatrizoate meglumine and iodipamide meglumine.
Meglumine can enhance the lipid solubility of cyclic adenosine phosphate, improve the purity of cyclic adenosine phosphate, and make it exert its maximum pharmacological effects. Meglumine with:
1. Positive inotropic effects, non-digitalis cardiotonic drugs, can enhance myocardial contractility and improve cardiac pumping function;
2. It can dilate blood vessels, dilate peripheral blood vessels, and reduce the load of the heart before and after;
