Description:Indole-3-butyric acid potassium salt is a growth regulator for rooting plants. It is potassium salt of indolebutyric acid, which is more stable than indolebutyric acid and completely water soluble. It can promote cuttings rooting, promote crop growth, increase yield and promote seed germination. Indolebutyrate potassium has similar physiological effects to indoleacetic acid, and can act on cell division and cell growth in plants, but not as obvious as indoleacetic acid. Indole-3-butyric acid potassium salt is sprayed on the leaves and dipped in roots, etc., and transmitted to the plant from leaves, seeds and other parts. It is concentrated on the growing points to promote cell division and induce the formation of advadvanced-root. It is not easy to be oxidized and has poor conduction in plants.

The objects of action of indole-3-butyric acid potassium salt are cucumber, tomato, eggplant and pepper. Trees, flowers cutting root, apple, peach, pear, cherry, citrus, grapes, kiwi, strawberry, poinsettia, carnations, chrysanthemum, rose, magnolia, tea, poplar, cuckoo and so on.

Promote rooting: indole-3-butyric acid potassium salt is the best growth regulator to stimulate or accelerate the rooting of cuttings. It works less in plants and tends to remain near the site of use. IBA is strong in promoting rooting, but produces fine and long advective roots, whereas naphthalene acetic acid (NAA) promotes fewer and coarser roots. Grapes were immersed in 5 ~ 20 mg/kg IBA solution for 24 hours and then cut on a sand bed. Contain 3 ~ the green branch base of 5 leaves of apple or peach tree immerses 1000 milligram/kilogram IBA solution 5 seconds, after being done a bit, cuttings are cultured on the sandy bed inside plastic shed, make its take root, such branch takes root rate taller. Before planting, the seedlings of sweet potato were immersed in NAA solution of 10 ~ 20 mg/kg for 12 ~ 24 hours to promote rooting and improve survival rate. Difficult to root plants (pine, cypress, Chinese fir, rhododendron, camellia, western ivy, milan, etc.), when cutting use mixed rooting agent, can get more satisfactory rooting effect. If larch USES indolebutyric acid, naphthalene acetic acid, 2, 4-d to mix (10+10+10 mg/kg) preparation, the rooting rate of its branch cuttings increases apparently.
