Deoxyribonuclease

Product name:Deoxyribonuclease
CAS:9003-98-9
Specification:100mg/30ku
Description:
A deoxyribonuclease (DNase, for short) is any enzyme that catalyzes the hydrolytic cleavage of phosphodiester linkages in the DNA backbone. Thus, deoxyribonucleases are one type of nuclease. A wide variety of deoxyribonucleases are known, which differ in their substrate specificities, chemical mechanisms, and biological functions.
Deoxyribonuclease is a white freeze-dried powder, soluble in water, slightly soluble in 30% ethanol and acetone, with an optimal pH value of 7.8. Adding 5mmol/L Ca2+ or diisopropyl fluorophosphoric acid (DFP) to aqueous solution can increase its stability. Inhibitors include EDTA and sodium dodecyl sulfonate; The activator is divalent metal ion, and the best effect can be obtained by combining Mg2+ and Ca2+. The absorption coefficient of 1% aqueous solution at 280nm was 11.1. Restriction digestion chain length to an average of four nucleotides, enzyme reaction: deoxyribonucleic acid ═ dinucleotide - 5 '- + oligomeric nucleotide phosphate - 5' - phosphoric acid.
Deoxyribonuclease is used for biochemical research. It is commonly used as expectant clinically, and can also be used locally for abscess, hematoma and intrathecal injection in the treatment of meningitis.
