Description:
Betaine hydrochloride is a derivative of trimethylglycine. It is mainly used as feed additives, bio-fermentation additives, cosmetics, health products, etc. It is the main form of industrial production because of its more stable structure, easy preservation and production, and can replace methionine.

Betaine hydrochloride participates in fat metabolism and promotes protein synthesis. Adding betaine hydrochloride to pig feed can increase the area of eye muscle, reduce the average thickness of pig back fat, improve lean meat percentage and carcass quality. Adding chicken feed can improve carcass quality and breast muscle mass, reduce abdominal muscle deposition, and reduce feed to meat ratio.

Betaine hydrochloride has a predatory activity. Betaine hydrochloride is a quaternary ammonium alkaloid. It can stimulate animal's sense of smell and taste, promote animal feeding, and improve the palatability and utilization of bait.

Betaine hydrochloride is a buffer of osmotic pressure shock. When osmotic pressure changes sharply, betaine hydrochloride can effectively prevent the loss of water in cells, improve the function of NA/K pump, improve the tolerance of organisms to water shortage, high temperature, high salinity and high osmotic environment, stabilize the activity of enzymes and the function of biological macromolecules, so as to regulate the ion balance of water in animal intestinal tract and maintain intestinal function. Slow down the occurrence of diarrhea.
