Product name:Aminopeptidase M
CAS:9054-63-1
Specification:25U
Description:Aminopeptidase M is red freeze-dried powder, reddish brown liquid or suspension, soluble in water with an optimal pH value of 7.5-9.0. Stability: suspension of bovine magnesium sulfate or magnesium chloride as a stabilizer; When the pH value is about 8, the storage activity remains unchanged for 6 months. Freeze-dried powder can be stabilized at 4℃ for several months. The inhibitors include heavy metal ions, EDTA and citrate. Activators include manganese chloride (3-4 mmol/L) and Mg2+. Enzyme reaction: amide acylation peptide + + H2O ═ amino acid peptide.
Aminopeptidase M was used in protein sequencing.
Aminopeptidase M is prepared from pig kidney by column chromatography after homogenization with hexadecyl trimethylammonium bromide and ammonium sulfate.
Chemical property:White Powder
