Amikacin disulfate salt is produced by streptococcus. Kanamycin has three components A, B and C. The content of A and B is less than 5%, and the content of C is very little. It is A semi-synthetic aminoglycoside antibiotic, which introduces aminohydroxybutyryl chain into the streptomide part of kanamycin A molecule.

Other gram-positive cocci, anaerobic bacteria, rickettsia, fungi and viruses are not sensitive to this product. The enzyme resistance of Amikacin disulfate salt is sensitive to Amikacin disulfate salt when microorganisms are resistant to other aminoglycosides.
