Description:3-aminopropanol is a colorless liquid with a melting point of 12.4℃, boiling point of 187-188℃, relative density of 0.9824(26/4℃), refractive index of 1.4617 and flash point of 79℃. It is miscible with water, alcohol, ether and chloroform and has hygroscopicity.
3-Aminopropanol is obtained by catalytic hydrogenation of beta - hydroxypropanol. Add b-hydroxyprolonitrile, nickel, ethanol and ammonia into the autoclair, pass hydrogen to 2.94MPa, maintain hydrogen pressure at 100-120℃, and keep the heat for 2h after no hydrogen absorption. At the end of the reaction, the temperature was cooled, and the nickel rani was recovered through filtration. The filtrate was distilled under reduced pressure, and the distillate of 90-92℃/2.0kPa was collected. The content was above 95%, and the yield was close to 70%.
3-aminopropanol can be used as an intermediate for organic synthesis, and can also be used for synthesis of cyclophosphamide, cardiac medication and other drugs.
