Description:2-aminonaphthalene-1-sulfonic acid is a white acicular crystal. Slightly soluble in cold water, soluble in hot water, very slightly soluble in ethanol and ether.
In o-nitroethylbenzene solvent, 2-naphthol was sulfonated with chlorosulfonic acid to form 2-naphthol -1-sulfonic acid, and then 2-aminonaphthalene-1-sulfonic acid was obtained by neutralization and separation of 2-naphthol -1-sulfonic acid with soda ash, and 2-aminonaphthalene-1-sulfonic acid was obtained by ammonolysis in the presence of amino acid acid ammonium sulfite, followed by acidification and filtration with hydrochloric acid.
2-aminonaphthalene-1-sulfonic acid is an azo dye intermediate, which is used to manufacture jic acid and gamma-acid, chromophenol as-sw, reactive red k-1613, organic amaranth, risol amaranth and risol scarlet and other products.
