Gentamycin sulfate is applicable to pseudomonas aeruginosa, proteus, klebsiella species, e. coli, Mr Charest bacteria genera, citrate coli and staphylococcus aureus caused by neonatal sepsis, septicemia, central nervous system infections, respiratory tract infection, urinary tract, reproductive system infection, infection of biliary tract, skin, bones, otitis media, sinusitis, soft tissue infection, etc.; Gentamycin sulfate is not suitable for simple urinary tract infection, and is ineffective against pneumococcal and anaerobic bacteria. Gentamycin sulfate is suitable for extracentric infection caused by sensitive bacteria. The main indications are as follows:

1. It is used to treat respiratory tract infection, biliary tract infection, intestinal tract infection, abdominal cavity infection, urinary and reproductive system infection caused by sensitive bacteria (excluding simple urinary tract infection for the first time), skin and soft tissue infection, burn infection, neonatal sepsis and sepsis.

2. Used to treat listeriosis.

Intramuscular injection in parallel with clinamycin or metronidazole can be used to reduce the incidence of infection after colon surgery.

4. Intrathecal injection of gentamicin sulfate can be used as an adjunctive treatment for severe central nervous system infection (meningitis, ventriculitis) caused by pseudomonas aeruginosa or staphylococcus.

5. Oral administration can be used to treat bacterial dysentery or other bacterial intestinal infections, or to prepare for colon surgery.

6. Eye drops are suitable for those caused by coagulase negative and positive staphylococci, pseudomonas aeruginosa and escherichia coli, pneumoniae, influenzae and other gram-negative bacteria and gonococci, such as conjunctivitis, keratitis, lacrimal blepharitis, blepharitis, blepharitis, blepharitis and corneal ulcer.
